We work closely with our product in a collegiate, collaborative environment that encourages the open exploration of ideas.Nutanix, Epoch team is looking to hire a Lead Software Engineer Quality Engineering to set the processes and tools to significantly influence the product quality.Epoch incorporate ground breaking advancements in network stream processing, large- scale time series data analytics and data science.You are curious, able to self- manage, and work collaboratively. You will be part of a small, dynamic, yet impactful team based in San Francisco, with an ample opportunity to grow and expand your skillset.Responsibilities :Be the champion of quality and hold very high quality standardDevelop testing strategy across all phases of software development Automated Unit Tests, End- to- End System Tests, API/ UI Tests, Performance Test, Regression Tests etc Find creative ways to measure and improve quality with each iteration of the softwareBuild robust, scalable testing infrastructure to enable high feature velocity without sacrificing qualityActively participate in requirements, functional and design of featuresRequirements :Deep understanding of Software Testing methodologies and concepts.Hands- on experience in developing test framework as well as using OSS frameworks as required.Broad overview of trends in testing methodologies and tools at web- scale companies.Experience with SaaS Micro- services architecture, Public Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure), Docker, Container Orchestration (Kubernetes, Mesos).Experience with CI/ CD tools and build infrastructure Jenkins, CircleCI, HarnessExperience coding with Python, Perl, Shell Scripts in Linux environment10 years of experience, SDET, QA, or Automation Lead , preferably in a product company.Preferred :Familiar with TCP- IP suit, HTTP, MySQL, Web ServersExperience with Network and Application Monitoring domain.Masters in Computer Science or related field.Nutanix is an equal opportunity employer.The Equal Employment Opportunity Policy is to provide fair and equal employment opportunity for all associates and job applicants regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, or disability.
