Position summary Evolent is looking for bright and energetic individuals for the position of QA automation Work with IT Quality Assurance (QA) Leadership to achieve company goals Development of subject matter expertise on the Identifi platform Authorship and maintenance of both automated and manual functional test cases Develop and execute automated tests Creation, management, and execution of test cases in VSTS Defect Management to include defect creation, interacting with developers for clarification and resolution Participation in full SDLC as a member of a Scrum team attending daily standups and other required meetings Work with the Product Owner and Developers to ensure the delivery of a high quality product and take ownership of functional requirements, communicating effectively with developers (to explain the requirements) and product owners (to provide feedback and suggestions for improvement of requirements) Assist and advise on best practices for testing, as well as make recommendations to improve efficiency and performance Assist with User Acceptance testing Participate in creation and status updates of tasks, consolidation of data for status reporting and measurement of performance Other duties as assigned Key Competencies JSON and Web Services Single- page applications (SPAs) Bachelors degree 3 to 7 years or more years of experience in information technology 3 to 7 years of experience in software testing, and working knowledge of QA practices and methodologies Experience in Healthcare IT Previous experience in healthcare and clinical process Understanding of Claims, Eligibility and Provider data and related processes Experience with Agile /Scrum Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS)or Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS) and Test Manager Experience with Selenium, Protractor, Cucumber framework or other test automation tool, used with a web application Experience as a team or project lead Possess strong written and oral communication skills, along with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of team members Must be detailed oriented, data- centric and possess a desire to deliver high quality products Hands- on experience with and expert knowledge of SQL and Microsoft SQL Server Knowledge of GitHub The wo rk environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
