Were greater together through peer learning in our globally diverse team, with different backgrounds and nationalities.Were looking for a Mobile App Developer wholl be responsible for understanding the product requirements, design, development and test Mobile App for Lighting Products.Youll be part of the Signify Connected Systems and its responsibilities are building IOT based Smart Lighting products, so Problem Solving, Taking ownership, Accountability, Drive for results must be in your DNA.What youll doEnhance existing and/or develop new software that enables the launch of new Mobile apps.Enhance and follow software guidelines, UI design patterns and style guides.Work with the other software development team members when coordinating on large projects.Translate requirements into software in line with project vision.Participate in the definition of both the functional and non-functional requirements of the system.Participate and contribute in sprint planning, demo and retrospective.Participate in design and code reviews.What youll needBachelors or Masters degree in Engineering with 5+ years experience with web-based applications is required.3+ years of hands-on experience in developing mobile native and hybrid applications for Android along with mobile UI/UX.Experience in Native mobile app development using Core Java, Android SDK and Android Studio.Proven knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizesProficiency in developing frameworks and SDKsProven knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practicesExperience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuningAbility to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as touchFamiliarity with cloud message APIs and push notificationsKnowledge of HTTP Protocol, WebSocket, SSE, and other web technologies.Knowledge on mobile app unit testing framework, methodologies and technical know-how on E2E testing.What youll get in returnCompetitive salary depending on experienceExtensive set of tools to drive your career, such as a personalised learning platform, free training and coachingOpportunity to buy Signify products with discountWhat we promiseWere committed to the continuous development of our employees, using our learning to shape the future of light and create a sustainable future.
