Job Description

    - Basic Knowledge of Oracle Database Fundamentals and Architecture. - Oracle Memory Allocation - Concept of storage allocation. I.e. ASM, Table space and data files, Listeners, Redo logs, Rollback Segment, Oracle Transaction - Performance & query tuning using various tools (OEM, SQL tuning advisor, SQLT, own customized scripts etc). - Should have proactive approach and ability to identify high resource consuming Queries - Should be able to interpret and resolve various wait events involving query tuning. - Good working knowledge of performance tuning and optimization of PLSQL - Good working knowledge of SQL commands, PLSQL and system packages - Understanding / troubleshooting, debugging in functions, procedures, packages etc. - Experience in interpreting Query Plans in detail. - Experience in working with large databases. - Experience in materialized views and table partitions. - Ability to use and interpret internal performance tuning tools like AWR/ASH/10046 tracing etc. - Strong Communication skill to discuss with various stakeholders and get recommendations implemented,
