The candidate will perform technical needs assessments, architecture & system design as well as implement solutions to ensure the network traffic is delivered to meet business technology needs. Duties and Responsibilities Key responsibilities include working with infrastructure teams to ensure systemplatform goals are met, working with application teams to ensure a suitable framework is provided for application operation, defining enterprise direction for large system deployments as well as planning and executing hardware OS upgrades. Strong project management skills. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 5+ years experience with network hardware design and development as well as implementation best practices. Experience with Cisco routing and switching, firewall technologies, load balancing, and voice infrastructure. Experience with global WAN solutions including MPLS, VPN, PIP, DIA and MIS. Hands- on experience with Cisco IOS, NX/ OS, ASA OS, F5 load balancers, and Blue Cat DNS appliances. Mastery of subnetting, EIGRP and BGP routing protocol, firewall access rule sets, and DNS/ DHCP/ IPAM. Experience with Cisco wireless CAPWAP infrastructure and Communications Manager.
