Design internal (within FIS) and external (exchange & client) connectivityResolve any challenges within existing network setup which might hinder or act as a show stopper for any exchange or client connectivityTake ownership of preparing configuration requests for firewalls, load balancers, routers, proxies, DNS, etc.Collaboration with FIS application/infrastructure/network teams, client & exchange for end to end delivery of connectivityDocumenting and updating network designs and connectivity data24X7 Support, rotating shiftsGENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESProvides 24 x 7 on-call support for all assigned production-related systems.Develops and executes scripts, utilities and associated test plans. Scripts may modify data that is not updateable via user interface.May conduct code-level software analyses to identify root cause of bugs and/or system modifications as needed.Interfaces with internal clients, vendors, managers, IT and Product Development to resolve problems.Analyzes problem, documents and communicates resolution and conducts follow up. Escalates problems to appropriate teams when necessary.Assists in documenting current policies and procedures.Represents team on cross-functional teams for production, support and development activities.Performs specialty production processing.Learns, understands, implements and utilizes SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) and security regulations.Performs monthly and quarterly SOX testing.Interacts with internal departments to deliver solutions.Interprets and presents data and conclusions to management as needed.Improve methodologies used in the job.Other related duties assigned as needed.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSBachelor s degree in computer science, management information systems, business administration or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
