Introduction: Developer will be building applications for real time reporting platform using ETL Ab initio, Oracle database, , MQ, Unix and other technology stack. What will you be doing
• Understand the overall purpose of the project and contribute in design, development, testing and maintenance.
• Technical Design and development of ETL services /components using Ab Initio
• Delivery of all agreed change to time, quality and cost parameters.
• Ensuring that all change is designed and implemented using best practice using the DevOps toolset.
• Ensuring that all engineering reviews are completed and the introduction of change into the Production environment follows agreed governance processes
• Support the Application Management function with problem records and high severity incidents.
What we re looking for:
• Expertise in ETL technology Ab Initio as an ETL developer and exposure in Banking domain with Business corporate knowledge.
• Good working knowledge of relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server and PL/ SQL
• Hands-on experience with ETL pipelines (Ab Initio) and experience in scripting (Unix, Perl, Python)
• Expertise in Unix scripts, Database & TWS or working experience of any scheduling tool.
• Good communication, organizational skills and analytical skills
• Ability to identify, appropriately escalate issues & risks & consider solutions.
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies, as well as SDLC life-cycles
• Strong skills in XML and JSON message formats.
• End to end application development and deployment
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Hands-on on Continuous, Real time flows and end to end application development.
• Knowledge of Metadata hub and Express>IT.
• Ideally has some knowledge of payments platforms of Banks.
• Basic knowledge of agile and Scrum.
• Bachelors degree (or above) in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Strong analytical skills, Methodical approach with good attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
