Job Description

    *OCM Manager Job Description As an Organizational Change Management Manager the candidate will introduce and drive change activities to transform business and to recognize the greatest value from technologydriven initiatives, very often initiated by software engineering and product development teams. The Change Management is primarily a clientfacing role responsible for executing and delivering all aspects of the Organizational Change Management (OCM) strategy for internal and external projects with limited daytoday oversight. This role requires deep knowledge of change management methods, processes, and tactics to drive execution that supports the ultimate adoption by those who must do their jobs differently. Expectations include leading or participating in the delivery of the change plan supporting the practice teams. More specifically, will be involved in developing stakeholder analyses, communication plans, change impact studies, readiness assessments, end user training strategies, L&D artifact development, adoption curve tracking, and benefits realization. Partner with key client stakeholders to validate vision, mission, objectives, and desired outcomes Leading the change management activities within a structured process framework. Designing the strategic approach to managing change and support operations that fall within the domain of change management. Evaluating the change impact and organizational readiness to limit potential risk. Supporting training and communication as part of change management. Activities may include designing or delivering specialized training resources to appropriate userbase. Evaluating the risk of change and providing actionable guidelines on reducing the impact. Evaluating resistance in adopting the change at the user, process, and technology level. Managing the change portfolio, which allows the organization to prepare for and successfully adopt the change. Authorize minor change requests and coordinate with the Change Advisory Board for changes presenting higher risk. Conduct postimplementation reviews to assess the decisions and performance related to the change request. Supporting the change manager in decisions for major changes. Evaluating Requests for Change (RFCs), the available resources, impact of change, and organizational readiness. Validating that appropriate tests and evaluation are performed before highrisk changes are approved. Documenting relevant processes and activities. Supporting the design of change implementation scheduling. Reviewing a change implementation process. Supporting the design and approving new change process models. Using the diverse knowledge base, skills, and expertise of each CAB member to provide a unique perspective before a decision is finalized. Change management experience, including communications, engagement and behavioural and cultural change Organising and overseeing change programmes and plans Constructing cases which initiate change, understanding and projecting specific benefits to come from these changes Advising on stakeholder engagement and change programme accomplishments as well as determining long term changes to the business Establishing change within an organisation concentrating on employee development and behavioural and culture change through training Understanding the financial industry and other sectors within the business that impact on the organisations change programmes 8 years of relevant experience, ACMP change management certification The experience must include leading change management activities, executing communications strategies, and leading projects or workstreams More than four (4) years providing change management in support of technologydriven transformation programs Viewed as an expert on change management; understands and speaks confidently; keeps current on trends within emerging technology, best practices and policies, uses broad base of experience to advise clients on how change,
