Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Hand over from night shift.
  • Checking of bills received from manufacturer, supplier, distributor and same to submit to central store.
  • Preparation of stock time order for central store.
  • Filling of medicine to assign location.
  • Issue of medicines to outpatient, stock transfer to other stores.
a. Check the date of prescription b. Read the prescription properly ( strength, availability of medicines as per qty requested) c. Issue medicine with proper packing.
  • Issue/posting and updating narcotics drugs for in patients.
  • Attending phone calls from various department, stores and patients.
  • Store cash collection to be submitted to billing department.
  • Out of stock/shortages items register to be maintained.
  • Medicine issue and posting to be done for staff.
  • Preparation of manual bill in failure of system.
  • Bar coding of the products
