Job Description

    • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience on mainframe programming using COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS, DB2 etc.
    • Proficient with the available programming tools like File Manager, Fault Analyzer, Endevor, EZYEDIT, Changeman, ExPeditor etc.
    • Analyze and Design Technical specification for projects requirements including regulatory, product investment and enhancements.
    • Understanding of the U.S. Lending Business - Mortgage and Auto (preferable)/Banking domain Good verbal and written communication and inter-personal skills Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to provide estimation of assigned tasks Develop and test mainframe software changes based on business high-level functional designs Ability to do impact analysis for given functional / technical design Assist others in resolving their technical queries Anticipate risks, identify issues and communicate to Managers, Clients and other stakeholders Well aware of application development life cycles, methodology agile and waterfall and ensure the standards are followed for software development
