Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions. As a manager in the technical/process QA division, you will lead a team that designs, installs and evaluates quality control methods and systems. You will also develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance and methods.What Youll DoManage a team of QA engineers and drive automation goals in a high paced product development release cycle. Provide leadership, career development, and mentoring for the team Desire to advance team members professional development and career progression Hands-on approach to better understand the technical challenges faced by the team; guide the team in technical solutions Collaborate with cross-functional teams Participate in problem management processes to look for tooling, automation and monitoring opportunities to improve performance and management of systems and networks Makes decisions based on divisional and business objectives that directly impact results Works under the general direction of executive-level management Be an advocate for continuous process improvement by proactively identifying deficiencies in current processes and recommending improvements Stay abreast technically of new QA and testing technologies and best practicesWho You AreMust have a bachelors degree in computer science or related field from top universities-9+ years of technology-related experience in product technology/startup companies, building high volume, highly reliable, and scalable product development using open source technology stack with extensive experience in JavaScript / Java /Python/ Oracle DB and No SQL DB technologiesDeep technical knowledge of automated testing and proficiency writing Java script code in a Selenium-based automation framework.Expertise in RESTful Webservices testing/Automation Deep production-grade experience with Micro-services architecture is a plus Exceptional debugging skills and ability to identify root causes of test failures. Ability to solve complex technical challenges and implement technically sound solutions.Minimum of 1 -2 years in managing QA Automation teams and cross-functional experienceExtremely hands-on technically; should have a deep passion and curiosity for technology Excellent written and spoken communication is a must.Strategic thinking and leadership skills to review other important requirements Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environmentAbout TIBCOTIBCO Software Inc. unlocks the potential of real-time data for making faster, smarter decisions.
