Job Description

Primarily Skills and Experiences: Administer and Maintain Opentext Magellan BI Solution according to best practices and according to MOTC requirements. Manage reports execution and delivery. Manage secure, interactive web applications, reports, and dashboards fed by multiple data sources. Identify and resolve Opentext Magellan BI report related issues. Provide support to real-time information and self-service business analytics. Prepare and maintain BI reporting and analysis documentations. Deliver data analytics, report statements, data visualizations. Create customize data-driven dashboards with instant status. Create reports and graphical summaries of business-critical information Analyze existing BI reporting processes and suggest improvements. Develop and update technical documentation according to best practices. Generate standard and custom reports summarizing business data for review by MOTC management. Provide real-time information presented in interactive data visualizations (i.e., tables, graphs, maps, and gadgets) Perform set analysis; profile and segment user; and find correlations and patterns according to MOTC requirements. Perform Drill-down/up data analysis and crosstab support Provide training to MOTC users to create and run ad hoc reports Provide set of re-usable templates and themes or use Layout feature to easily create and reformat dashboard-style layout. Populate new reports with information from pre-loaded data sources. Sorting, grouping, and aggregating data Creating reports that use parameters Writing expressions Building a report that contains subreports Connecting to JDBC, text, and XML data sources Joining data sets Creating charts Designing a multipage report Designing master pages Creating hyperlinks Adding interactive features to a chart Creating and using libraries Creating and using templates Customizing reports and charts using JavaScript Debugging JavaScript iHub System architecture overview Installing the iHub Configuring the iHub for standalone and clustered environments Understanding the primary server processes General server administration tasks Working with locales for international reporting Using the iHub logging functions Setting up and administering the Report Encyclopedias structure and contents Integration using Actuates Open Security feature Auto-archiving and online backupSecondary Skills and experiences: Good to have in OpenText Applications administration Good to have in Apache HTTP and Tomcat server administration Good to have Hadoop Ecosystem and Big Data Engineer Good to have in MongoDB and PostgresSQL.
