Job Description

A Typical Day in the Life of an Oracle Applications Support Analyst :

  • Document and analyze requirements for enhancement requests.
  • Application configuration, maintenance and instance validation.
  • Review, assess, and maintain incoming helpdesk tickets, including root cause analysis as needed.
  • Develop and maintain all required documentation supporting the change request governance process.
  • Perform units testing and coordinate end user testing, including test scripts, scenarios and training.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and ISE process specific training to offshore support teams.
  • Facilitate communications between users and offshore support teams.
  • Collaborate closely with ComRes and Corporate Oracle support teams to validate solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for business process improvements.
  • Prepare and report out on project status and help desk metrics.
  • Assist with OBIEE reporting needs.
  • Assist with EDI support and testing as needed.
Additional InformationGeneral office and factory conditions. Must be able to move safely throughout plant. May need to work evening or weekend hours and is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.,
  • B.S. Degree in Computer Science or MIS OR a B.S. Degree and 5+ years IT / systems experience.
  • Minimum 5 years Oracle EBS R12.x experience with at least 2 years in a dedicated support role.
  • Experience with Oracle EBS R12.x implementations and enhancement rollouts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience writing SQL scripts in Oracle.
You Should:
  • Experience with OBIEE subject areas, reporting, analytics, and dashboards.
  • Experience with EDI transaction implementation, testing, and support.
  • Experience with HPMS, ServiceNow, and MS Office
