Job Description

Job OverviewWhat you will be doing:

  • Act as a SME to monitor migration of Oracle EBS R12 from Oracle Managed Cloud Services (OMCS) Data Center to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure(OCI)
  • Analyzing any changes needed in the systems (related to change to URL, IP address, Port etc. either in configuration or any hardcoded code)
  • Making required changes/documenting it
  • Raising Firewall Change Requests (FCRs)
  • Testing applications and fixing any issues.
  • Co-ordination with business during UAT.
  • Highlighting migration issues with ideas, alternatives, and solutions
What skills, experience and education you need as a team member to succeed:
  • Extensive experience in Oracle EBS R12, especially in Order Management, Service Contracts, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Purchasing, Taxation, Trading community architecture (TCA), etc.
  • Strong technical skill and hands-on experience in working with SQL, PL/SQL, Inbound-Outbound Interfaces, Form Personalization, Workflow and XML/BI Publisher Reports.
  • Must have worked on complex Interfaces/Integrations interacting with various other systems connected to EBS R12.
  • Experience using IDE like SQL Developer, TOAD, etc.
  • Hands-on Techno-Functional track record in Oracle EBS R12 environment.
  • Prior knowledge of Oracle Applications (Modules: Order Management, Service Contract, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Purchasing, Taxation, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of the listed core technologies.
  • Experience with business requirements, technical analysis and design, coding, testing, and implementation of customization within software environment.
  • Proven ability to be self-directed and operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Nice to have
  • Experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure(Cloud Test Design, Strategy, Implementation, Execution, Reporting)
  • Previous work experience in migration projects.
  • Well versed with AIM Methodology and documenting the work done in a well-fashioned manner.
  • Expertise in performance tuning using EXPLAIN PLAN, TKPROF to tune SQL queries, custom objects.
Education and Soft skills required
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent engineering experience is required
  • The position requires a minimum of 6+ years of IT experience in Oracle Applications
  • Good communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
