Job Description

Come to IBM and make a global impact!Your Role and ResponsibilitiesWho you are:As Package Solution Consultant, you will be responsible to work with client and project managers to interpret business requirements. You will develop project scope and estimate documents for JD Edwards implementation and support projects.What you will do:

  • Your work efforts focus will be primarily on the implementation of the JD Edwards E1 Manufacturing modules
  • Translate business requirements to JD Edwards software solutions Create functional designs, test scripts and training documentation
  • You will work directly with clients to provide needs assessment, installation, configuration, implementation, and consultation services
  • You will provide optimal solutions to meet client requirements along with providing user instruction and training
  • Responsible for the completion of implementation activities as part of the implementation team, and working closely with the consulting staff and the customer

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Minimum of 6+ years as a JD Edwards Manufacturing Consultant.
  • Expertise in the core Manufacturing modules including Plant maintenance
  • Experience in implementation and or support or upgrade in JDE projects
  • Working knowledge of JDE servers correlation and concepts
  • Ability to understand clients business processes map to JDE and provide satisfactory solutions
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Demonstrated experience in application of standard software development principles
  • Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals.
  • Ability to manage change and demonstrate good time management with an ability to work on tight delivery deadlines
  • Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications
