Job Description

    1. The Interiors Plastics Engineer candidate will have at least 3-5yrs years of Product Design Experience on Interior components, must have worked on Headlinears and Pillars design , worked on Floor Cover Carpet , Soft Trims, Luggage compartment programs.2. Experience working on Natural and Composite Materials3. Ability to interact with the customer through surface development and feasibility4. DMU, Drawing, NX is a must 5. Knowledge of regulatory requirements in Europe & US.6. Knowledge of plastic part design & manufacturing processes of Floor Cover Carpet , Soft Trims, Luggage compartment7. Data Management, PLM, Release Control and Co-ordination, Understanding Drawing standards.8. Experience in Mercedes Benz Norms and DBL standards, DIALOG and SMARAGD will be an advantage.9. Highly motivated, proactive engineer.10. Strong interpersonal skills are required to work effectively with suppliers and program team.11. Assist the responsible team leader to achieve company goals.Job Responsibilities:1. Design of Interior Plastic components ( Headlineras & Pillars , Floor Cover Carpet , Soft Trims, Luggage compartment programs)2. Customer interaction to review engineering feasibility. BOM, packaging study & designing parts.3. Design of Interior Plastic components to meet regulatory requirement.4. Knowledge of Stack-up & GDT study to meet Craftsmanship targets.5. Should be able to work independently with little supervision.6. Assist team leader to achieve company goals / objectives.Qualifications - ExternalRelevant Experience Required:Min 3-5yrs of Product Design Experience in Interiors Plastics (worked on Headlinears and Pillars , Floor Cover Carpet , Soft Trims, Luggage compartment programs), *
