As a Performance Test Engineer, resource will be responsible for writti ng the strategy, planning, designing, building, managing, executing, analy sing and reporting on performance tests. Using appropriate testing tools a nd techniques, resource will ensure new and amended software, togetherwit h any interfaces, performs as specified and intended against the volumetri c aspects of its technical and functional specifications.Interpret and execute complex test scripts using agreed methods and standards. &nbs p;Compose medium level strategy documentation and manage a small team of performance testers Document test results compared to pre -defined criteria Use normal operating facilities, diagnostic tools, technical manuals, test scripts and systems documentation to identi fy, diagnose and report on system errors. Review test re sults and to modify tests if necessary. Compile andpresent re ports on systems quality and metrics Produce re-usable test sc ripts and procedures to test new and amended software to be executed by se lf and other staff. Produce test plans to test the effect of t he new and changed software on existing systems for their affects on perfo rmance operating characteristics Experience of running Load and Per formance Tests Experience of Applications development and/or d esign Experience of working with PerformanceTest Tools such a s HP Loadrunner Experience of developing, designing and/or tes ting mission-critical applications- Ensure performance test requirement coverage, - Adhere to the SLAs relate d to defect rejection, review comments on performance testing deliverables, def ect leakage to next phases in the assigned area - On time and quality delivery of assigned work - Prepare knowledge repository Participate in the perf ormance test related defect triages and contibute towards the resolution b y proactive analysis of various logs and the response times. Performance and Load Testing Strong knowledge in any Industry Standardtools like Load Runner / JMeter or equivalent , Graduation/Tech. Diploma/BE/B.Tech./MCA or equivalent
