To receive the patient with smile and greeting. To direct the patient to the reception desk for registration.To assess the patient for the mode of treatment according to the nature of ailment and record the same in the card/ form maintained. To plan the course of treatment and mode of treatment and the equipment to be used to complete the treatment. To make the patient comfortable and place them in right position for treatment. To explain the treatment procedure in detail to the patient and the necessity for such a treatment. To prepare the equipment for the prescribed treatment. To determine the correct dosage of treatment and begin the treatment.To ensure that the equipment is in order and ready for the next patient on completion of treatment. To give proper advice regarding home program. INPATIENT To ensure proper information is given to the reception desk regarding billing depending upon the number of sittings and type of treatment. To begin the prescribed treatment. To decide the frequency depending on the condition of the patient and inform the patient/relatives/wards. To record the action to be followed at the end of each treatment with card or form maintained so that continuity of treatment is assured. GENERAL To assess the patients for appropriate therapeutic measures and to treat the patient To report all the patients being treated by the him / her and report to the Head of the Department. To visit the wards under his/her care periodically to keep himself/herself abreast of the conditions of the patients and therapy, details rendered to those patients. To accompany the Head of the Department to the various wards under his/her care.Organize review meetings with the Head of the Department and to discuss about the patients about his/her ward. Assist the Head of the Department in management of the department. Will work in such a way that academic and clinical ability of the self get updated constantly. As asked by the senior therapist to supervise IP and OP registers, stock register, interaction with bio medical engineering department. To participate and contribute to departmental quality initiativesTo be aware of departments performance and objective.To carryout data collection/support in data collection.To adhere the safety norms of hospital and follow both patient safety and staff safety rules.To perform any job / task as and when assigned by the superior.,
