Job Description

Job Title:Principal Consultant - SAP PP

  • Experience and ExpectationKey responsibilities on this role may include but not be limited to To play a Solution ArchitectTeam Lead role Represent organization as an ambassadorSupporting the delivery of ERP projects SAP ECC , SAP S4HANA etc as a ManufacturingPP,QM,PM Lead with primary focus on SAP PPUndertaking research on ERP SAP ECC , SAP S4HANA etc and supply chain related topics PPPPDS Functional Expert with experience on ECC or SAP S4 HANA . should have a background of SAP ECC should have extensively worked on diverse environments having multiple application interfaces.Lead presales and provide guidance on existing projects as mentor for Manufacturing areasDrafting documentation, presentations and supporting client meetingsAnalyzing, proposing implementing changes in clients business processes for improving their ERP processes and bring in supply chain efficiency overall performance of the clients businessUnderstanding and implementing SAP applications Specifically for PP, PPPI and QM at customer locationsShould have delivered various kind of projects like Greenfield Implementations, Rollouts, Upgrades and AMS Support.Should have worked in multicultural environments and with Global CustomersProcess KnowledgeShall be well versed with end to end process for manufacturing involving demand management, MRP and shop floor controlShall be able to differentiate between various manufacturing scenarios like make to stock, make to order, engineer to order and configure to orderTechnical ExpertiseConfiguration knowledge in all the submodules of Production Planning like discrete manufacturing, repetitive manufacturing, process manufacturing and KANBAN Experience in unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing and cutover activitiesAbility to work on complex configuration scenarios along with writing functional specifications for customizations Ability to lead and conduct Design workshops in front of an audience comprising of both Business and IT teams.End to end impact assessment and flawless solution design Basic understanding of integration with other modules of SAP especially MM, SD, QM, FI, COQualifications10+ years of experience in industry or consulting or working as a supply chain or ERP professional experience in SAP ECC and OR S4HANA with interfacing to PLMMESwill be an added advantageExcellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skillsProficient in use of MS Excel , MS Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint ApplicationsCertification in SAP PP and SAP S4HANA Manufacturing will be an added advantage
Information Security Responsibilities:Understand and adhere to Information Security policies, guidelines and procedure, practice them for protection of organizational data and Information System. Take part in information security training and act while handling information. Report all suspected security and policy breach to Infosec team or appropriate authority(CISO). Understand and adhere to the additional information security responsibilities as part of the assigned job role.,
