"Responsibilities & Key Deliverables1) To work as homologation Lead in vehicle Platform, Project/s CFT team for target countries - India and Export Markets. (e.g. Europe South Africa, Australia, Gulf & Chile). 2) Preparation of detail homologation requirement matrix /Sign off sheet target book documents specific to the project , as per vehicle specifications, features, timelines, country scope . 3) Ensure Compliance to homologation requirements ( both Design & test ) at various MPDS project stages , with interaction wth various stake holders during various project gatways including budgets, vehicle deployment, testing and certification plan . 4) To keep track of upcoming homologation requirements and study impact on spcific project for timely compliance for domestic and export market . 5) Co- ordinate, track Internal pre-homologation tests including component level certification 6) To ensure accuracy of homologation application documents, Information documents and inspection of vehicles / BIW as per checklist before sumbission to external certification agency. 7) Lead Final testing & certification with external test Agencies as per target Vehicle launch time plans for varous target countries , with FTR approach, cost effective measuresExperienceAt least 10 - 12 years work experience in homologation field ,either with Vehicle manufatutrer ( preferably 4 wheeler ) or Vehicle test agencyIndustry PreferredQualificationsGeneral Requirements1 Good knowledge, understanding of Automobile Rules and Regulation, both domestic as well as export countries as mentioned above. 2. Good experience of reading, undersatnding , Interpretation of homologation rules, its implication on various systems 3. Knowledge of vehicle as complete as well as various systems of the vehicle 4. Knowledge on certification related testing , test equipments, rigs. Ability to cary out vehicle level tests, Good rapport with external homologation officials & test agencies 5. Data management system in Metaphase/Team Center 6.Quality Systems & Audit Process including export homologation/ COP . 7. Basic Finance Knowledge with regards to Bills processing, tax structure etc. 8. Domain Knowlege & experience on Diesel, Gasoline as well as Hybrid, electric vehicles preferable. 9 .
