Work with engineering teams to decompose epics into user and engineering stories, with detailed acceptance criteria. Manage, prioritize and sequence backlog for assigned programs and products. Groom the product backlog so that stories have enough definition for accurate estimation. Represent the customer and client s interests during implementation to help the team deliver valuable software. Make product and tradeoff decisions when necessary to keep development moving forward and keep the client informed of decisions made so course correction can be made if directed by Technical Product Managers.Processes and Quality: Identify areas of process improvement and potential solutions, and effectively participate in approved process improvements initiatives. Strive to become a lean organization by reducing waste across the groups and driving towards increase product quality and release stability by metrics-oriented continuous improvementsCommunication and Cross Functional Interaction: Establish a significant partnership with US engineering, program management, product management and system engineers to manage the product backlog Collaborating and resolving conflicts as needed. Expert in various Networking protocols across Layer 2, Layer 3, Security. L2 (Ethernet, IEEE 802.1x std. STP, MSTP, RSTP, Dynamic VLAN) L3 (Routing protocols such as RIP, OSPF, BGP, VRRP) Security (Firewall, NAT, IPSec, IKEv1, IKEv2, SSL) Hands on experience on Networking Products Router, Switches, Firewall. Hands-on experience in troubleshooting various control and data plane problems in system. In depth knowledge on processor architecture (preferably ARM9) is necessary. Knowledge of Modbus (Master/Slave) Solid programming experience in C Interface with hardware design and development. Proven experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems Must have in depth working knowledge about kernel internals like kernel boot, device tree usage, interrupt handling, timers, clock framework, memory allocation, memory management. Knowledge on legacy IPs like UART, SPI, I2C UART and Serial (RS232/RS422/RS485). Tools and debugging requirements:o Must have excellent debugging skills. Must be willing to go deep and debug the issues instead of giving partial solutions.o Must know usage of debugging tools like Lauterbach Trace32 or similar. Must have knowledge of using oscilloscopes and protocol analyses. Good knowledge on profiling tools is requiredSecondary Skills: SCADA and Other Industrial protocols Knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet Exposure to RTU like Rockwell Automation (RSLogix 5000 higher) Any porting (DOS to Linux) experience is desirable.,
