The candidate shall be required to technically lead a SW Development team, demonstrating technical acumen and leadership. The candidate would be required to demonstrate high degree of ownership, velocity and aptitude for independently leading technology projects and driving them from start to end. Primary Skills: Very good programming and data structures skills Very good understanding of SW Architecture and Design Very good understanding of Networking domain (Routing, Switching, Firewall Protocols) Working experience on vxworks or Linux RTOS Good understanding of various user interface architecture like SNMP, CLI, Web, HTML-5 Should have experience in leading a small team (2-4 members), for at least 1 year Understanding of embedded systems. Should have worked on embedded device development In depth knowledge on processor architecture (preferably ARM9) is necessary. Knowledge of Modbus (Master/Slave) Solid programming experience in C Interface with hardware design and development. Proven experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems Must have in depth working knowledge about kernel internals like kernel boot, device tree usage, interrupt handling, timers, clock framework, memory allocation, memory management. Knowledge on legacy IPs like UART, SPI, I2C UART and Serial (RS232/RS422/RS485). Tools and debugging requirements: Must have excellent debugging skills. Must be willing to go deep and debug the issues instead of giving partial solutions. Must know usage of debugging tools like Lauterbach Trace32 or similar. Must have knowledge of using scilloscopes and protocol analyses. Good knowledge on profiling tools is required Expert in various Networking protocols across Layer 2, Layer 3, Security. L2 (Ethernet, IEEE 802.1x std. STP, MSTP, RSTP, Dynamic VLAN) L3 (Routing protocols such as RIP, OSPF, BGP, VRRP) Security (Firewall, NAT, IPSec, IKEv1, IKEv2, SSL) Hands on experience on Networking Products Router, Switches, Firewall. Hands-on experience in troubleshooting various control and data plane problems in system. Secondary Skills:. PowerPC specific development experience (preferred). . Basic understanding of Layer 2 protocols(STP, MSTP, VLAN etc) Experience in on-site execution/integration support is a plus. Knowledge of Static /dynamic tools for code, memory analysis. Experience in on-site execution/integration support is an additional advantage. Experience in industrial and line interfaces such as serial or modbus is an advantage. Relevant certifications will certainly gain preference. ,
