The team is always looking for passionate, dedicated individuals who are self-motivated in their work and careers.As a team member of the IT Infrastructure, Communications & Collaborations, and IT Applications PMO, the IT Project Manager will liaise with various teams to program manage the various Information Technology projects including, but not limited to, endpoint software upgrades/roll-outs, data migrations, and real estate IT, AV, and Voice build out projects. Must be familiar with standard program/project concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Work with project stakeholders on a daily basis. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.What you will be doing:*The first two years of project work will be devoted to IT Infrastructure build-out and labs migration projects in India.The following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other Duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.As an IT PM you will be able to perform the following duties:Collaborate with Veritas Project real estate teams and IT/Labs service owners to project manage tasks related to real estate and colo buildouts.Build trusted advisor relationships with other Project teams during projects.Working with General Contractors and vendors to give direction, understand timelines, and due dates.Collaboratively create IT requirements for new office build-outs or moves.Manage turn-up and testing of IT Network, AV, and server equipment, including SIP and MPLS circuit delivery and turn-ups.Manage the life-cycle endpoint software or hardware roll-outs.May own the successful delivery of multiple projects within a program.Manage projects with moderate complexity that may be broad in scope with a broad customer base, addressing multiple functional areas across multiple organizational domains, involving medium size teams with a reporting hierarchy.Responsible for developing the project resource plan forecast and budget. Ensure that the project remains within the project budget throughout the project life cycle.Understand and influence decision-making processes and cost/time/quality impacts to a project.Ensure cross functional IT, Labs, security, and business areas are involved as appropriate.Establish project success criteria and determine the degree to which the project achieved the objectives.What skills, experience and education you need as a team member to succeed:Minimum of 10+ years of experience in program managementFacility build out and real estate project management experienceUnderstanding of IT Layouts (where to install switches, voice circuits, LAN/WAN equipment, voice and video equipment, etc.)Extensive portfolio management process and planning experienceAttention to detail and commitment to high quality/error free deliverables.Must be motivated, independent and self-sufficient. Able to receive an assigned task and see it through to completion with minimal supervision.Ability to quickly analyze situations, correlate ideas, and make decisions on issues and resolutions.Experience working with cross-functional teams product engineering, sales, marketing, IT, facilities buildout etc.Strong presentation, communication and facilitation skillsStrong relationship building skillsExperience working with internal and external partners to deliver servicesExperience with executive-level presentationsEducation:BS/BA in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems and/or equivalent formal training or experiencePMP or PgMP equivalent desired, but not required,
