Job Description

  • Provide data analysis during the conceptual design phase of the project using computerized techniques
    • Prepare documents such as Process Flow Diagrams, P&IDs, equipment sizing, flow and press drop calculations, specifications and data sheets, line and valve sizing, material selection, process operation description, heat and mass balance calculations during basic design phase of projects.
    • Provide RFQ packages, technical bid analysis and drawing and document reviews during the project detail design phase.
    • Interface with staff engineers; direct/guide CAD drafting personnel during project execution.
    • Interfacing with detailed engineering teams, both in-house and customer side, on process related issues.
    • Monitor activities to meet project schedule and budget
    • Participate in the commissioning phase of projects
    • Advise the Project Manager and Process Group Supervisor regarding significant technical, scheduling or cost problems so that timely corrective action can be taken
    • Attend project team meetings
    • Maintain good design calculations on assigned projects and file them properly for future reference
    • Demonstrate a positive attitude, ethical conduct and excellent communication

  • Education / Experience / Language skills required:
    • Minimum of Bachelor Science Degree in either chemical or mechanical engineering.
    • Minimum of 5-8 years of Process Engineering experience in related field.
    • Experience in chemical, gas and oil flow measurement, and batch processing applications preferred.
