  • HIC India, which is a design and manufacturing organization under IS business group, is responsible for Development, Product Marketing, Upstream Service Support and Manufacture of Value segment healthcare products for Indian and global markets. Current products are in i-XR (Cathlab and Surgery C arms) and DXR domain.
  • Manufacturing is part of HIC India, responsible for delivering highest quality lowest cost products right in time for IGT and DI segments. The products are made for domestic as well as for export markets.
Role OverviewAs a Product Industrialization Engineer within Image Guided Therapy Systems you design, change and implement a high quality, high performing production line for Medical Devices in a low volume industry.Illustrative Responsibilities
  • Identifies, design, implement and validate manufacturing processes, tools and equipment enabling quality and efficiency
  • Involves manufacturing in new product introductions
  • Standardizes across various production sites in scope
  • Executes process technology development activities
  • Responsible for Manufacturing input in new product introduction based on DfMAT
  • Create Quality Control Plan and Work Instructions
  • Obtains & Installs equipment and supports ramp-up of the process at the site
  • Gives input from factory side to the sign-off at SR milestone & project close
  • Review and approve suppliers manufacturing capabilities
  • Applies lean manufacturing principles
  • Employs equipment, practices, and procedures which promote a healthy, safe, and secure work environment
  • Executes the processes and standards with embedded quality into the way of working including adherence to compliance with safety,
  • Executes Capex optimization for investments
Minimum requirementsEducation
  • Mechanical engineer Must and needed. (BE / B. Tech / Diploma with relevant Years of experience)
  • Sound knowledge on production line.
