Job Description

Product Manager - Sustaining Engineering

TraceLink is seeking a full - time, experienced Product Manager to focus on supporting our cloud - based track and trace and serialization suite of applications. This position is responsible for working with cross - functional teams and customers, managing product issue triage, prioritization, resolution, and publication of patch release documentation. If you re self - motivated, intellectually curious and motivated by designing and developing innovative products for global organizations, you could be a good fit for our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in bug triage and prioritization
  • Investigate technical issues in support of other Product Managers and customer issues related to delivered product functionality
  • Work with Development, Services and other product managers to determine solutions for customer use cases
  • Review proposed issue resolutions with product managers of the various application suites to ensure alignment with product direction and roadmap
  • Create and document patch release requirements, release notes, and related release documentation
  • Participate in scheduling, coordinating and planning product development releases with Development, Quality, Services, and Program Management, including direct support of roadmap and patch release deployment activities
  • Work closely with Development and QA to resolve issues throughout the development lifecycle
  • Review and accept user stories upon completion of development and testing
  • Serve as product expert; provide secondary support to Sales and Professional Services

Skills and Requirements:

  • Technical degree (engineering and/or computer science)
  • 3 years of experience as a product manager, business analyst or application/platform/systems technical support
  • Software company experience where SaaS and/or cloud deployment environments are used

Desirable areas:

  • Knowledge of Serialization and GS1 Standards
  • Manufacturing Serialization, knowledge of Line Management Systems (e.g. Optel Vision) and Enterprise Serialization Systems (AII, OER, ATTP)
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Supply chain shipping and receiving experience
  • Product serialization knowledge and related technologies (EPCIS)
  • Knowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms
  • Implementation or requirements definition experience with enterprise software
  • Knowledge of SOAP and REST web service APIs and their application
