Job Description

    What does an outstanding Automation / Functional Test Engineer do at Fiserv Gift Solutions is looking for talented Automation / Functional Test Engineer to join our Value Link / Gift Solutions Development team. The ability to think tactically as well as strategically and to articulate your expectations to a mixed team of engineers, senior level developers is critical to the success in this role. In addition to these important skills, it is imperative that you can summarize technical issues relating to software testing, automation and prepare written test plans and test scripts. This is a hands-on technical role and will involve testing the platform within lower and upper environments and making recommendation for performance and capacity improvements.Additionally, you will be required to write Automation test scripts in sprint and to manage the Regression test suite. Teamwork and creativity are essential to this role. You will also be challenged with resolving client impacting issues in a fast-paced environment. What you will do:
    • Application testing both functional and automation.
    • Active participation in agile (Scrum) deployment team activities
    • Partnering with business and technical SMEs to understand relevant data, analyze and perform necessary testing, summarize and present key findings.
    • Learning and mastering the gift card processing business domain and our systems
    • Review and analyse user stories, acceptance criteria, business requirements, system requirements and technical specifications
    • Develop test scenarios, document test cases, create test data/files, compile test summary documentation and provide work estimation for Testing tasks
    • Create and execute test scripts, test data requirements based on acceptance criteria, and record test results
    • Help identify test scenarios, test data requirements based on acceptance criteria, and refine resource estimates for testing
    • Conduct testing activities: performance and security testing and mitigation support (i.e., testing and re-testing, as needed)
    • Perform integration and regression testing as needed
    • Write and update project documentation including user stories, acceptance criteria, test plans, test cases, testing procedures, requirement traceability matrices, and training materials as needed
    What you will need to have:
    • Bachelor s degree required; relevant, equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
    • 5 8 years of experience in Manual and Automation testing
    • Strong technical experience with Unix/Linux
    • Hands-on knowledge of Tosca, Cypress automation / Selenuim tools
    • Experience with shell scripting.
    • Oracle DB SQL knowledge.
    What would be nice/great to have:
    • Basic understanding of Java
    • Experience of development using GIT Repo
    • Must have full life-cycle development experience.
    • Preferred domain experience in Cards, banking and financial services industry
    • Agile development environment
    • Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery Jenkins deployments and pipelines
    • Collaboration platforms such as JIRA, Confluence
