Job Description

Description

Program Manager in this position will be responsible to lead and develop an IT team working on diverse technologies for Emerson Electric Co s Automation Solution Platform in Pune location. The incumbent will be required to support the organizations strategic direction and vision, as well as create and manage long term goals for the group by collaboratively working with functional leaders and AutoSol India IT Leaders.

In addition, the Program Manager is expected to effectively track the Quality of service delivery of the team under management by constantly encouraging a high-performance organization culture, and customer centricity within the team.

Prior experience in both Program Management and Team Management is must to be successful in this role

Responsibilities
  • Provide Management oversight, leadership and direct supervision to technical team members within the Organization
  • People Management - bringing cohesiveness to the Team, developing Leaders, conflict resolution and attrition Management.
  • Working closely with operations leadership to prioritize projects based on current and future roadmap, identify resource needs, work with HR in recruitment and identifying the right talent and onboarding them to Teams & Projects.
  • Collaborate with Autosol India IT Group s Track Leads and Operations Leadership on regular basis to develop the mission, goals and priorities for the Team.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with team, Functional Leaders and senior Leadership in Autosol IT and other IT Leaders in Pune location.
  • To manage various Functional Tracks within the Team to ensure that cross-functional project work across the Team is executed and delivered as per requirements and within timelines in collaboration with the Service Leads
  • Develop training programs for the group, helping individuals to define development plan and ensure successful implementation and governance of training employees as well as college hires.
  • Balance stakeholders in a matrix organization ensuring clear communication betw. various Leaders / Managers and provide clarity to the team when there is ambiguity.
  • Manage site level communications and initiatives for Autosol IT in consultation with Autosol India IT Leadership and Pune IT Site Leadership.
  • Identify & measure KPIs, potential risks / escalations and develop & execute mitigation plan with inputs from other stakeholders.
Requirements

  • Minimum 15 Years of Total IT Experience with at least 7 yrs. in Leading team of IT professionals in a direct supervisory role.
  • Experience in managing a portfolio of diverse service / technology teams
  • Experience in Support and implementation of industry leading ERP tools and systems - SAP ERP/ Oracle ERP is strongly preferred
  • Exposure in Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, Information Management, Data Analytics will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in managing onsite-offshore delivery model
  • Effective verbal & written Communication, interpersonal and Facilitation Skills
  • Experience managing and working with Global teams in distributed delivery model for a large-scale organization is essential.
  • Experience in developing employees and their skill sets to expand the team capabilities and provide growth opportunities for future leaders
  • Ability to solve practical problems and execute responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Must possess the highest level of work ethics, integrity, and the ability to maintain confidential information.
