Job Description

Description: This role is responsiblefor providing overall leadership & program management to Embedded Center ofExcellence (ECoE) at Emerson Innovation Center - Pune. This position willreport to Director Engineering CoE Responsibilities: Provide overallleadership to ECoE in terms of Strategy, Technology, Programs, People &Processes. Oversee People &Performance Management. Manage hiring & staffing to ensure that appropriate& adequate resources are provided and managed for all ECoE projects andprograms. Work closely with HR and immediate supervisor to implementdevelopment/ improvement plans. Identify & provide development and growthopportunities to people. Oversee Project/ Program Management.Spearheading the Embedded Product Lifecycle Management activities includingProof of Concepts, New Product Development, System Solutions and SustainingEngineering Support. Actively involved in reviews of project / programs of ECoEwith key focus on Quality, Delivery & Cost. Establish work processesand drive perfect execution culture across ECoE. Formulate & trackannual budget. Plan & manage capital expenditure and procurement. Maintain communicationwith customer, seek feedback and drive continuous improvement to meet customerexpectations. Stay abreast with technologyin the core and adjacent areas of ECoE. Build relationship with customer business units and the site SeniorLeadership Team to identify new business opportunities. Work closely withimmediate supervisor and align strategies with larger Emerson business needsand programs. Develop and implement strategies to strengthen ECoE and increasecapabilities in aligned areas.*Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor s / Master s Degreein Engineering/ Technology, is required. Preferably in Electronics/ Instrumentation.
  • PMP or equivalent Certificationwould be an added advantage
  • Around 12- 20 yearexperience in Embedded Domain. At least, 5- 10 year experience in managingteams.
  • Exposure to cross- functional, multi- cultural, global engineering teamsis essential. Skills & Competencies:
    • Embedded Product Design& Development
    • Project/ ProgramManagement. Must be able to use MS Office and Project Management tools.
    • Reliability &Compliance Testing
    • Very good in written& verbal communication in English.
    • Must be able to plan, align resources and be able to optimize work processes.
    • Should be able to drivesengagement and being able to build effective teams
    • Person should be customerfocussed having ability to build networks ,
