Proposal is a crucial part of this business. With an objective to improve the overall efficiency of this team and to serve the customers better, we are now looking for dynamic, result oriented person to strengthen the Projects Organization based at Pune as Proposal Manager - AIF Projects - Support Centre.Job Mission:Formulate the Projects Non-Standard Business strategy in line with the OFA India business strategy, implement and review the same based on the market / customer requirements with an objective to ensure sustained profitable business growth within the divisional policies and guidelinesMain Responsibilities:

  • Achieve the Projects Business Plan:
  • Analyze market potential and trends across various industries.
  • Formulate, discuss, and finalize the sales projections with the Projects Manager
  • Prepare strategy to achieve the Projects Business Plan
  • Ensure working in a way to implement agreed strategy.
  • Achieve OR:
  • Ensure correct proposals for Projects / Non-Standard business.
  • Ensure execution of sales process right from enquiry till order booking within Project Sales. (i.e., review of tenders, correct commitments, right payment terms, warranty terms, contract agreement, deviations, etc.)
  • Ensure proper review of tender documents / contract agreements.
  • Liaise with project execution team to support efficient order handling process.
  • Ensure better realization:
  • Review discounts as per local competition,
  • Review proposals for achieving desired GP Targets.
  • Provide input in formulating discount and pricing policy.
  • Ensure correct offering / selection of products.
  • Develop a competent Proposal Team:
  • Coaching proposal team
  • Appraisal and competence evaluation
  • Identifying training need and implementation
  • Providing technical support to Project / Non-Standard sales.
  • Implement KPIs for Proposal Team & develop sustainable Process & Systems.
  • Enrich the Corporate Culture:
  • Follow in letter and spirit the Atlas Copco Vision, Mission, and core values
  • Comply with the Atlas Copco Business Code of Conduct
  • Comply with the policies and procedures communicated from time to time
  • Ensure compliance with SHE norms laid down by the company
  • Perform any other tasks given by manager from time to time
This position reports to National Projects Manager - Application & ExecutionExperience requirements:8-10 yrs. years of adequate experience in Project Sales, handling Applications, contracts / executions of customized projects such as Oil and Gas, Power, Mining, Pharma, metals, automobile, air separation & electronics etc.Knowledge & Educational requirements:
  • Engineering Graduate or equivalent with extensive experience in Projects / Project Sales / Applications in Engineering Industry.
  • Technical Expertise, Finance Skills, Business Understanding, Problem Solving, handling unanticipated events, be able to learn on the Fly.
  • Managing & working through Processes and Systems.
