Job Description

Initiate management programs from improvement.JOB DESCRIPTIONPosition :Purchase EngineerDepartment: PurchaseLocation: Chakan PuneAccountable to: Purchase all material purchase with minimum price and best quality. Annual price reduction from all suppliers. Ensure to conduct localization programs and implement the same effectively in perception of cost saving, quality product and maintaining timelines. Handle project management effectively. Initiate management programs from improvement.Min QualificationDegree in EngineeringMin experience4-12 years industrial experience.Responsible for:
    • Based on indirect material requirement, ensure 2-3 supplier quotes available, price negotiation and OA approval for material purchase.
    • Annual price reduction proposal to be made for each supplier, direct / indirect material and execute annual cost reduction program.
    • Ensure on time price settlements based on tool amortization, agreed YOY and price actualization.
    • Initiate price revisions based on RM and forex price fluctuation for approval and execution.
    • Initiate and execute localization programs for cost reduction.
    • Identify potential suppliers, new or existing for new programs as well as localization programs.
    • Conduct supplier assessment along with identified audit team and audit guidelines.
    • NDA agreements for new suppliers and availability for old suppliers.
    • Release RFQ for new projects and localization programs to suppliers who had signed NDA with Yapp.
    • Receive quotations against RFQ within shortest time.
    • Negotiate on all quotations received.
    • Prepare part price feasibility based on final negotiation and get CFT approval.
    • Release LOI to suppliers based on approved prices.
    • Monitor and support for development time plan.
    • Organize material for customer builds as per customer requirements.
    • Tooling agreement with all suppliers.
    • Asset confirmation as per company requirement at supplier end.
    • MIS on monthly, half yearly and annual basis as and when required.
    • Prepare and adhere to annual budget
    • Adherence to all system requirements in relevance to customer requirements, IATF, OHSAS and statutory and regulatory requirements with respect to purchase department.
