Job Description

  • We are looking for a Python Web Developer with primary focus on the development of server-side logic and API endpoints
  • Ability to write modular and clean code and maintain code in development and production
  • Develop product enhancements in the server back-end in the Python/Flask stack
  • Logical reasoning and understanding of product feature requirements and how to build them
  • Clarify any ambiguity with the product manager.
Must Have
  • 2+ years experience in writing back-end/server-side code using Python.
  • Knowledge of Python web framework such as Flask, Django, etc
  • Proficient in a open-source relational database such as MySQL or Postgres
  • Proficient in REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS protocol.
  • Understanding of ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries like SQLAlchemy
Good to have
  • High level of analytical and problem solving skills
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as Angular, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Experience with NoSQL technologies (Cassandra, MongoDB)
  • Familiarity with agile & scrum methodologies
  • Self driven with an ability to work independently and take initiative.
