This position is a hands-on contributor role. Working as part of a team you would be responsible for: Building test plans, test suites, and manual or automated test cases for assigned changes Building up environments independently to test assigned work Executing manual and automated tests Reporting the results Create accurate, thoughtful and comprehensive defect reports Investigate customer problems referred by technical support Engage and participate on an Agile team of a world-class software developers. Apply independence and creativity to problem solving across project assignments. Primary Skills 3 - 5 years experience testing commercial software You must be very good in Python. Demonstrated understanding of QA methodologies Experience working with SQL and understanding of relational databases You must have test experience on Linux and UNIX environments. You should have experience in test Automation frameworks. Experience in testing SaaS based cloud applications hosted at Amazon AWS Knowledge and experience of AWS services like S3, Ec2, Boto3 and RDS etc. Our products run on Linux, Windows, Mac OS X and multiple UNIX flavors. Our ideal candidate has experience targeting a broad range of operating systems. Experience creating test strategies that ensure comprehensive, pragmatic, and scalable testing approaches. Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to excel in a fast-paced, fast-growth environment where action and initiative are prerequisites to performing well. Experience designing and debugging tests that measure performance and functionality under scale and load. Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to interface well with externally facing departments and directly with customers. Desire to work in an agile team that strives to be great, is politely self-critical, and continuously improves. Secondary Skills Familiarity with continuous integration products like Team City and Jenkins. Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline Experience with performance testing tools a plus Experience with security tools a plus TCP/IP, networking knowledge and troubleshooting a plus Experience with performance testing tools a plus Problem solver with collaboration Mature in interactions with right balance of negotiation skills and ability to influence Strong communication and presentations skills written and spoken, experienced on working with distributed teams Keen on learning new technologies and knowledge sharing, should have demonstrated the same by writing technical paper, blogs, speaker in technical forums, or patents,
