Location:Pune Medline International is looking to hire anexperienced QAD Support Team Lead for its Offshore Delivery Center, located inPune, India. The role will be part of the organization of Medline s InformationServices Department, and will report to Manager in India and work closely with QADIT Team Lead. The QAD IT team activities are split in projectsand support (including change requests). The candidate will effectively be the QADSupport Lead for Medline Europe with a team of QAD developers mainly based in Pune,India. The person will be responsible for supportand maintenance of QAD, providing guidance to the developer s team and planningand coordinating the QAD related work. This position would be a gatekeeper totransition project work into ongoing support. This is also key to safeguard thequality and documentation around any projects that get handed over to theSupport team. For prioritizing application change requeststhe person will be working closely with key users in the business and the QADteam lead. YourDuties: Technical andFunctional Requirements: Minimum of 6-8years working experience with QAD (and Mfg/Pro) including experience with QADEE. Experience &Aspiring to spearhead technical support teams as a hands-on application supportlead, experienced in Problem and Incident Management. Interact withinternal teams and external 3rd party vendors to troubleshoot and resolvecomplex problems Ability to manage issue resolution andproduct fixes with QAD team. A broad rangeof QAD knowledge especially from the following functional areas: CustomerServices, Procurements, Supply Chain/Logistics Experienceusing Qxtend and Progress Openedge Experienceworking closely with remote functional leaders at Operational Level from otherBusiness Departments Mentoring tothe local team Performinitial triage, duplicate and analyze customer reported issues. Identify andprovide solutions to the customers, including patch retrofits. Prioritizebusiness expectations. Align supportprocesses Developtemporary code fixes and suggest workarounds to the reported issues.
