Quality Control Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Quality Control exepert for managing Product Quality Test and Understand all the test methods for quality test and can perform all the test well. Responsible for customer issue handling related system document maintenance. Particiapte in the ISO9000/ISO14000/BRC/Iop system built up and maintain. This is an permanent role based at Chakan, Pune.

What you will do

As Quality Control Engineer you will:

  • Perform inward inspection and in process inspection
  • Collects rework data ,rejection data and coordinate with respective department to plan corrective actions
  • Gather data and produce statistical reports to support the issue resolution and process development
  • Drive corrective actions (major, minor, corrections) to eradicate supplier quality issues.
  • Proactively identify gaps, propose solutions and opportunities for improvements to the Root cause eradication processes and methodologies
  • Proactively work with suppliers to improve their systems/procedures e.g. development of Quality Planning, development of root cause analysis process
  • Create and report relevant quality indicators statistics and KPIs and communicate them to stakeholders
  • Handle networking process with key stakeholders
  • Knowledge in interpreting and reading design specification (drawings and flow charts)
  • Ability to interpret quality standards
  • Knowledge in precision measuring techniques ,visual inspection techniques , surface roughness measurements
  • Understanding in measurement equipment calibration
  • Ability to validate relevant testing documentation (pressure test, penetrant test, lab tests, NDT tests, material certificate etc)
Who you are

We believe you have:

  • BE/Diploma Production Engineering / Mech Engineer @ 48 years of working experience preferably in
  • manufacturing in food industry or similar industry
  • Strong people leadership
  • Experience in WCM
  • Level II certificates in VT.PT as per ASNT
  • Exposure to Quality Audit, Lean manufacturing, 5S,Kaizen, Six sigma or the equivalent
