Job Description

nullIn this role, you have the opportunity to lead a Research and Development team designing, developing and maintaining key components and products for PHILIPS Diagnostic Imaging/ MR. You are responsible to build and grow a team of key technical experts delivering and maintaining key components and products. You will ensure to build and develop a team to the highest standards as to deliver and maintain components and products at the highest levels of performance and quality for our customers.You are responsible for

  • Creation and development of a Hardware Components and Productivity Center of Excellence including Senior Architect, Program Manager, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics leads, experts, engineers and technicians.
  • Leading the Hardware Components and Productivity team with people management as core responsibility.
  • Aligning the activities of the team with the Diagnostics Imaging/ MR Research and Development Teams globally.
  • Driving Hardware Productivity Projects for Philips MR teams globally.
  • Defining the roadmap for your team with setting clear priorities and direction.
  • Ensuring on regulatory compliance, time and quality (including process quality) of project/program deliverables within budget by mobilizing available resources.
  • Managing Team s activities on design, development and maintenance of key components and products for Diagnostic Imaging
  • Delivering on team s commitments
  • Managing R&D relationships with key suppliers.
  • Delivering on all functional responsibilities including Hiring, Coaching, Competency management, Performance management, etc.
  • Driving a culture of Customer focused innovations within the group.
You are a part ofDiagnostic Imaging/ MR Hardware team, located in Pune, India. Philips HIC, Pune is playing a key role in Philips global strategy for Diagnostic Imaging. With Philips HIC, the foundation was laid to touch billions of lives and reiterate Philips commitment towards Indian and growth healthcare markets.To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
  • Master in Science in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics Engineering.
  • 12+ years in engineering initially as engineer and later as Group management role.
  • Excellent Communication skills & People management skills are essential.
  • Technical exposure in Mechatronic designs to make proposals for strategy building for the group is essential.
  • Team player, leadership skills and drive for results
  • Customer focus and Quality mindset
  • Global mindset and intercultural sensitivity
