Job Description

    Tarana was founded in 2009 to research, develop, and commercialize at mass scale a whole new take on wireless access. It is powered by the efforts of smart PhDs from advanced radio architecture research teams (first from Berkeley, then from several other leading universities), along with Silicon Valley wireless industry pioneers with decades of deep experience in multi-radio systems. We re funded by Khosla Ventures, EchoStar, Greg Wyler, Prime Movers Lab, and a number of global private investors, and we re guided by a team of distinguished communications-industry leaders.Tarana Wireless is looking for a high-energy, self-starter individual to join our Release engineering teamJob Responsibilities:
    • Coordinate and collaborate with geographically distributed Engineering, Project Management, and QA teams.
    • Keep tabs on high-level features and their corresponding software changes.
    • Track software changes and dependencies across multiple release branches.
    • Work closely with developers to identify and migrate changes between branches according to release requirements.
    • Hands on management of source control branches.
    • Generate branch and release specific change list reports.
    • Monitor release pipelines and regression tests.
    Desired Skills:
    • BE or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or other scientific discipline.
    • 4+ years of relevant experience.
    • Intermediate to advanced experience using Git: branch management, merge strategies, rebasing, cherry-picking, reverting, and conflict resolution.
    • Strong organizational and written communication skills; detail oriented.
    • Experience with web-based code review systems (Gerrit, GitLab, GitHub).
    • Experience with scripting and automation in a Linux environment using Python and Bash.
    • Experience using JIRA (or similar ticketing system).
    • Experience using and configuring jobs and pipelines in Jenkins and/or Gitlab.
    • Experience with build tools like bazel/ant/maven/cmake.
