Job Description

About the team This is offshore corporate technology team mostly works on Oracle ERP , Integration and Cloud related technology. We deal with legacy application as well as Oracle ERP on premise and Cloud environment. What you will be doing :The Oracle Fusion Developer Specialist is responsible for supporting Oracle Fusion EBS related functions. The Developer collaborates with the users, systems team and other stakeholders to identify user requirements, assess available capabilities, and recommend/implement solution options accordingly.Individuals in this role perform supports Oracle EBS On-premise and Cloud related Developer functions. What you bring: Knowledge / Experience : 4+ years of experience required.
    • Develops and produces high quality requirement specifications that enable the development of a functional design.
    • Demonstrates an expert understanding of Oracle EBS on-premise and Cloud and how to resolve technical issues with those tools
    • Experience with large technical development and implementations in Oracle Cloud Financials
    • Knowledge of finance operational processes, particularly period close & audit functions
    • Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, Analytical skills and strong team collaboration
    • Critical thinking, analysis, and a curiosity to dig deeper into requests to determine needs
    • Ability to independently manage and prioritize workload and projects
    • Develop, Implement, optimize, troubleshoot and support solutions involving Oracles ERP Cloud Applications, including AP, AR, GL, FA, CM, Revenue & Inter-Company
    • Support implementation, migration and integration to other SaaS services
    • Troubleshoot issues for oracle EBS cloud and On-prem application.
    • Create Enhancement Requests, or post Ideas in the Oracle Community to advocate for our requirements
    • Communicate effectively with our internal teams and external partners
    • Create documentation as appropriate and needed
    Skills:
    • Working with Analyst closely on enhancements/changes, preparing promotion documents.
    • Proficient to develop reports on Oracle AP, PO, GL, FA & iExpense Modules.
    • Handling L1and L2 support issues related to Oracle, recommends controls by identifying problems Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
    • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends .Interfaces with technology team to pass over user issues.
    • Creating testing scripts for development tickets and provide results to end users for UAT.
    • Assisting the end user for their queries on different issues related to accounting application on UI.
    • Providing support for different application which are used in FIS corporate.
    • Managing access control on application advanced features, handling escalations.
    • Coordinating with system support team as well as application owners for issue resolution.
    • Ensuring the business will and can support the solution prior to presenting to the customer.
    • CMS and JIRA ticketing system admin.
    • Strong understanding of Finance concepts and workflows
    • Prior experience working with Oracle EBS Financials preferred
    • Understanding of the interdependencies between Supply Chain and Financials, especially as they relate to subscriptions and capital equipment, a plus
    • Experience working with Oracle Support team
    • Strong experience creating templates in BI Publisher
    • SQL and PL/SQL skills a plus
    • Ability to analyze business challenges and recommend solutions utilizing Oracles Cloud Applications
    • Ability to prioritize work and issues
    • Ability to work with remote teams to execute system setups
    • Attention to detail
    • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organization skills
    • Ability to work in a team environment and interact well with employees at all organizational levels
    Senior/Juinor level role. Highly-skilled with extensive proficiency. Provides superior functional support for the implementation, maintenance and upgrade of Oracle EBS and Cloud related applications. Consistently works on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues. Makes recommendations for new procedures. Leads and coordinates activities of the project team and assists in monitoring project schedules. Extensive latitude for independent judgment. Assists less experienced peers. Extensive knowledge of the field. Typically requires a minimum of 4 or more years of experience.Qualifications :Bachelors Degree, a related degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.Competencies
    • Fluent in English
    • Experience with Oracle EBS and Cloud related development and support activities and the strong hands-on knowledge development, maintenance, and enhancement of the application and the functional components of the system
    • Oracle EBS Cloud experience
    • Knowledge of resolving all production support issues related to all Oracle EBS on-premise and Cloud Modules.
    • Configuring the modules, designing reports and add-ons and coordinating with the technical team to monitor development and implementation progress
    • Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team
    • Proficient in understanding Oracle provided data models for reporting and able to create reports, dashboards, and extracts efficiently using subject areas and custom SQL.
    • Understanding of change management concepts and able to take ownership of critical changes to production environment
    • Knowledge of REST and SOAP web services and other integration technologies.
