o Provide supporting function to the CCO GTIS Pillar Controls Officer, to enable them to set the overall strategy, policy and targets of the team. o Manage Risk assessments and logs including the TCSA s and ORAC entries ensuring that they accurately reflect the risk status of the business area, are regularly refreshed and that action owners address their actions within specified due dates.o Take personal responsibility for the delivery of timely and appropriate governance & risk decisions.o Attend all appropriate governance meetings and providing regular performance reports to CCO GTIS Pillar Controls Officer.o Provide timely, accurate and clear advice based on evidence and accurate datao Understand the wider context in which we work, effectively supporting CCO GTIS Pillar Controls Officer in discharging their responsibilities to Barclays.o Ensure that the CCO GTIS Pillar Controls Officer is kept informed about risks and operational issues which might affect the strategy or reputation of the Departmento Support the management of all Audit Observations owned by the business area, supporting completion of agreed actions within due dates to facilitate successful closure.o Perform regular quality checks to confirm that key controls are operating effectively.What we re looking for:The ability to perform Pre-Audit/Risk assessments for a variety of functions and IT services and organisational entities.Implementing operational processes.Working knowledge of Service Management and delivery frameworks as well as IT Governance frameworksBroad understanding of Barclays strategy and business directionExperienced in an IT Security control environment and technologies, ideally within the Financial Services sectorA familiarity with Infrastructure Technologies: Platforms, Networks or DesktopSkills that will help you in the role:Working in a busy, regulated environment, dealing with multiple issues and actionsBroad understanding of security implications of Infrastructure products deployed across enterprise scale architecturesBroad understanding of World Class Security and Governance solutions.Good understanding of project disciplinesUnderstanding of ITIL processes and associated concepts.Degree of commercial awareness with sound understanding of key contractual obligations and risks to maximize benefitsAudit, pre-audit or controls assurance experience preferred Where will you be working Pune Be More at Barclays At Barclays, each day is about being more as a professional, and as a person.
