Job Description

  • Obtaining & negotiating rates from overseas for Import shipments both by Air & Sea.
  • Preparing a quote & sending to customer via SIEBEL (Internal Sales Software), thereafter keeping a close follow up in order to secure the biz.
  • Ensure sales team to maintain calendar (Appointment & Visit report) on weekly basis.
  • Deep selling, visiting clients if required and converting business, maintaining customers independently.
  • Maintaining a quote log & MOM on weekly basis.
  • Preparing reports such as New gained trade lane, HTA Gained, BSN etc.
  • Creating an appointment and preparing visit report on SIEBEL for sales person whenever required.
  • To make a note of sales call being done by sales person, and appointment been fixed in advance for the next day.
  • To get the feedback from sales person after a call, in order to insert the same on SIEBEL visit report.
  • To collect the visiting card from sales person after meeting of them with customers.
  • To keep a target list of sales person ready.
Must Have:
  • The person should have knowledge of all four products Ocean Export, Import, Air Export, Import.
  • The person should be well spoken having good relationship with liners
  • Qualification Graduation on any stream preferred
  • Experience 3-5 years of experience ONLY in Freight Forwarding industry
