    IBM SAN Volume Controller : - Host mappings - Lun Allocation - Replicated / Non Replicated - Lun expansion - FC Mapping, Creation of FCCG - Create Lun Relationship on remote SVC via Metro mirror, global Mirror. - Knowledge on TPC - Performance Monitoring - Load Balancing among the SVCs - SCSCI IDs management - Code upgrades (Frimware ) - Performance Tuning - Creating hosts out of the zoned and mapped hosts . - Disaster Recovery expertise - Knowledge on Real DR and Test DR - Migration of Application Luns across the SVCs - Migration of data from other Storage to IBM SVC - Tier Management, Tier 1, Easy Tier, Tier 2 and so on - Compatibility check lists IBM DS8000 / V7000 / A9000 : - Host mappings - Lun allocation - Creating Mdisks - Creating Pool - Creating FBVOL - Firmware Upgrades - Performance tuning and Monitoring - H/w component knowledge and detail of each firmware - In depth knowledge of each H/W - Expansion of volumes - Movement of volumes across the Storage pools - Management of h/w components, like PCI, battery, PSU unit etc IBM Flash 840 / 900 : - H/w knowledge on both the Flash Systems - Management of h/w components, like, battery, PSU unit etc - Lun allocation - Pool creation - Performance management - Performance tuning - Flash systems monitoring - Flash firmware code upgrades - Flash Firmware compatibility with other h/w codes EMC DMX / Clarion/Centera : - Monitoring of the EMC DMX /Clarion/Centera - h/w management on each storage system, like Disk replacement, Power supply etc - Lun creation replication / Non replicated - Disaster recovery management - NDMP backups setup - Regenerations management in Centera - Node reboots in the cluster grid Role: System Administrator / Engineer Industry Type: IT Services & Consulting Department: Engineering - Hardware & Networks Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Role Category: IT Network
