SAP Basis Consultant

Job Description

As a Consultant, you will assist Bramasol s Professional Services team in providing clients with a unique business and technology perspective on how to transform IT roadmap/ landscape into SAP technology technical solutions and its systems landscape, architecture.

This position reports to SAP Project Manager for Consulting. Other team members will be based both in India as well as the USA.

The consultant will work on multiple Basis projects (Internal and External) which can include end-to-end project implementation, module implementation and support projects.

• He/she will deliver Basis activities that involves project s requirements that will receive from Onshore US.
• He/ She will deliver Basis activities/ issue resolutions on time and with quality.
• He/ She will Manage Basis Status reports and Meetings with clients, Team meetings etc.
• He/ She will work closely with Functional team/ Technical team (ABAP, Analytics)/ Project Managers/ Sales Marketing and Customers.
• He/ She will work US customers with Onsite/ Offshore delivery model.

Primary duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Your role as a Consultant will focus on establishing relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels and consistently deliver exceptional client service.
• Assist in developing applicable methodologies, tools, approaches, points of view, thought leadership and accelerators to differentiate Bramasol in the finance transformation advisory market.
• Demonstrate the ability to contribute to various workstreams within SAP Basis.
• Implementing technical SAP and its related solutions to meet client s requirements.
• Work with senior consultants on the team to design the solution/ landscape.
• Participate in the overall development and delivery of identified solution. Provide advisory support on assigned tasks.
• Assist the Project Manager in the creation of technical project plans and developing required delivery work products and artifacts.
• Installation may include ECC, BW, S/4HANA, Net weaver, Net Weaver components, Solution Manager etc.
• Manage database HANA, SQL Server 2012 /2008.
• SAP Basis administration and technical core tasks including SAP software installation, upgrade, ing Support Packages (with SUM tool), patches, and fixes, installation of add-on software components
• Maintain multi-landscape environments through environment copies, system refreshes, and transport management
• Client administration like local client copy, remote client copy, create and deleting clients.
• Create RFCs and also configure TMS (Transport Management System) User, Role and Authorization management. Monitor and manage the servers, background jobs, performance of the system
• Monitor the status of work processes, application servers and system logs etc.
• This role will require flexibility to work in late nights or early mornings to sync up with the US team/US customers.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong communication skills, especially around breaking down complex structures into digestible and relevant points for a diverse set of clients and colleagues, at all levels.
• Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge in SAP Basis and related fields.
• Demonstrate ability to quickly assimilate to new knowledge.
• Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge.
• Cultivate and develop relationships with team members across all Bramasol solution practices to optimally serve client needs.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor of Computer Science Engineering, Computer Systems, Engineering or equivalent.
• SAP experience in Basis Consulting for 5+ years
• The consultant preferably should have SAP Basis Certification. S/4HANA project experience
• Should have experience in SAP Enterprise support experience (Helpdesk) and SOLMAN 7.2.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills in English. At least 1 end-to-end implementation experience.
• Experience on SAP Support projects. AWS experience would be an added advantage
• Experience on Solman 7.1 and Solman 7.2 Service desk tool to manage incidents ECC to S/4HANA conversion experience would be an added advantage.
• Good Knowledge or Experience on Migration Cockpit would be an added advantage.
