Job Description

Position Summary:

Varian Infrastructure team is expanding and we in search of an SAP FI/CO Expert to be a part of our Enterprisewide Applications Team

This position is vital to support SAP Concur, Finance and Controlling, Fixed Assets, Project Systems including Portfolio and Project Management applications. The incumbent is mainly responsible for implementing Global AP automation using SAP Concur application and supporting the system. The ideal candidate for this position should have exposure on MM/SD/PP and other logistic modules. The successful candidate should be a self - starter and highly innovative to implement and support all financial applications whether it is SAP or non - SAP.

  • Overall duty is to work closely with finance shared service center and other finance groups in implementing, stabilizing and support the enterprise applications in finance area.
  • This responsibility includes process improvements to run the applications better. The incumbent should be able to assist to fulfill defined business goals set and cascaded by management team.
  • Analyze issues or requirements and design cost effective resolutions and solutions to address these issues/requirements. Design and write specifications for the development of interfaces to other systems.
  • Work Hands - on experience in SAP FI(G/L, AP, AR, Fixed Assets) and CO(Cost Center, Internal Orders, COPA and Product Costing) module and be able to learn on job new technologies and deliver the solutions
  • Understand the integration points with Logistics modules

Qualifications Required: BE, MSc, MCA, Computer Science or related discipline.

Experience (Years): 8+ years related experience

Technologies required : SAP FI(G/L, AP, AR, Fixed Assets) and CO(Cost Center, Internal Orders, COPA and Product Costing)

Information Technology:

  • Experience in SAP FICO modules
  • One minimum full cycle implementation experience in FICO with primary configuration and data conversion responsibility.
  • Should be able to implement best of breed IT finance solutions.
  • Well versed with all SAP finance processes and their integration with other SAP modules.
  • Should be able to troubleshoot, and analyze issues occurring in a production support environment.
  • Project Management experience is plus
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Flexible & dynamic team player with ability to work independently with business users and manage multiple assignments.
