Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.Introduction: This is role for Ab Initio Developer with hands on development experience in various Ab Initio tool kit GDE, Continuous Flow, Express It, BRE, Metadata Hub, Control CentreWhat will you be doing Championing agile ways of working, growing and promoting cultural best practices, such as backlog management, stories sizingBeing responsible for incremental adjustment to working models allowing autonomous yet highly aligned feature / scrum teams to thriveFocusing on improving and tracking feature team velocity and instil Agile best practice in the team working closely with agile coaches and engineering managers to achieve thisFocus on scrum team efficiency and making sure tracking of key metrics is utilised correctly within the team Stakeholder management and leadership - Communication ResponsibilitiesCommunicate directly with business analysts, project managers, and users understanding detailed business requirements at all stages of the SDLC Communicate effectively with the internal IT development teams and the local development manager. Work closely with global team members in US and London participating in and contributing to technical and business discussions.What we re looking for: competencies, expertise, knowledge and experience Strong understanding of Agile, scrum and related methodologies Experience working in cross functional agile teams within a distributed team model Scrum Alliance certified Scrum Master Experience in working in an end-to-end software development lifecycle Strong analytical skills with data driven approach and ability to grasp technical design Effective stakeholder management and communication skills, comfortable presenting to large/senior audiences Attention to detail and strong organisational skills Proactive and persistent in delating with impediments and seeking improvements Excellent understanding of Atlassian and issue management tooling such as JiraSkills that will help you in the role : Has had success in independently driving adoption of innovations across large organisations Understanding of scalable architecture patterns and client / backend systems design Experience mentoring / coaching an engineering and process teams An appreciation of project and programme governance activities required in a large regulated financial services firm Experience of Project and Portfolio Management systems, preferably Microfocus PPM (known as Navigator within Barclays)Where will you be working Pune Be More at Barclays At Barclays, each day is about being more as a professional, and as a person.
