The role requires a strong understanding of the underlying products and an ability to liaise with all areas of the business including Sales, Trading, Middle Office and the clients to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.Monitor, investigate and resolve settlement discrepancies in order to resolve margin disputes in a timely manner, prioritise and escalate accordingly,Understanding of swifts, alert & payments.Basic understanding of reconciliation.Provide the best possible service to both our internal and external clients.Uphold the controls and procedures for the team, and highlight any control gaps identified to management to ensure that these are reviewed and addressed as necessary.Contribute to process improvements within the team to drive efficiency and cost savings:Suggest innovative solutions to improve efficiency and provide the AVP with a detailed breakdown to quantify the time/ headcount savings from the initiativeWhat we re looking for:Degree level or appropriate industry qualification.Good knowledge of Investment Banking, industry and business fundamentalsWell organised with good time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritise tasks.Able to work effectively as part of a large teamWilling to take on responsibility.Detailed and meticulous, consistently delivering a high level of accuracy and attention to detail with high quality output.Skills that will help you in the role:Settlement background is Desirable.Relevance experience in Investment banking.Excellent command of the English language, verbal & written,
