Job Description

Review and analyze the requirement documents to understand QA scope and efforts to be invested. Define and execute test strategies, plans, estimations for small to medium size projects (primarily but not limited to Runners and Minor Repeaters) Contribute to executing the test strategy, plan of large size projects Hold and/or facilitate test strategy/case reviews with cross-functional teams Create, review and maintain manual and/or automated test cases/scripts, test data and execute test cases/scripts Define and maintain automation testing framework for creating reusable and modular automated scripts Identify, log defects, and participate in defect triaging Identify and raise the potential risk and issues in time Create and distribute QA status reports, test closure reports Capture data for standard QA metrics Leverage function expertise in grooming the peers and building functional expertise Make effective use of Eaton standard processes and tools for testing activities Build and share domain/technical knowledge across the team/group Participate in Continuous improvement initiatives related to processes or policies impacting QA for the applications/projects/enterprise.Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering / Masters in Computer applications
  • 5-8 years of QA experience
  • Strong hands-on experience in BI and ETL Testing.
  • Hands-on Experience in Report Testing, SQL, DataOps, and Data science model testing.
  • Knowledge of intelligent dashboards, Sibel, and C360 is good to have.
  • Knowledge of QuerySurge and BVT tools is good to have.
  • Experience in Test management tool HP-ALM.
  • Experience in Automation using UFT / Selenium
  • Good communication, interpersonal skills, critical thinking, problem-solving, Drive for results, and Self-learning.
