Job Description

This exciting role offers opportunity to: Primary function of your role:

  • EDI analyst is required to manage implementation of EDI products and services for new and existing trading partners, by coordinating all activities including initial stages of contact, developing requirements definition, construction, testing and the roll out while working very closely with trading partners and other team members.
  • EDI analyst will serve as a liaison between internal customer/supplier facing departments and external trading partners and identify opportunities to leverage EDI technology to reduce costs, improve accuracy and comply with trading partner requirements.
Your essential responsibilities include:
  • Evaluate and analyze customer/supplier EDI business requirements, arrange communication setup, develop SI (Sterling Integrator) maps as necessary to implement mutually agreeable EDI solutions as required by different Eaton groups.
  • Collecting requirements, design and development of Sterling Business Processes (BP), maps, and Trading Partner configurations, as well as testing and deployment of the solution.
  • Coordinate the daily EDI operations.
  • Create and maintain EDI maps and business processes.
  • Handle development projects independently and provide project management for runner and repeater projects.
  • Responsible for generating and maintaining process flow/procedure documentation as it relates to EDI.
  • Creating and modifying business process in BPML to build scenario for partner or systems integration.
  • Working on large ERP migration projects
  • Working on new customer implementation and enhancement requests.
  • Lead the EDI development team and provide guidance to team members.
  • Collaborate, build and maintain relationships with other technical groups. Initiate continuous improvement initiatives within the team and Enterprise
QualificationsRequirement:
  • Bachelor in Engineering/B.E/B. Tech and/or required equivalent.
  • Overall 8+ years of development experience. Experience of SAP and Oracle ERP systems will be an added advantage.
  • Sterling Integrator OR SI, EDI
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal at all levels of the Organization.
