Senior Analyst-Lease Accounting

Job Description

The Lease Accounting Senior Analyst for GFSS RTR Lease Accounting works as a key member of the Lease Accounting team to assist the company in achieving targeted goals. This position reports to the Global Lease Accounting Manager and will have responsibility for establishing end of term leasing activities to reduce Eaton s evergreen spend. Additionally, this position will help enter and update leases in the subledger to maintain compliance with the lease accounting standard as well as respond to customer queries, provides responses to routine accounting questions, vendor invoice reconciliations and participates in continuous improvement projects. Job ResponsibilitiesEstablish procedures and metrics around End of Term management and evergreen spend Coordinates with controllers, SCM category managers to highlight and drive out evergreen spend Performs end of lease term activities Enters and updates leases in the subledger Maintains updated procedure documentation Effective communication and timely resolution of customer tickets Performs vendor invoice reconciliation to subledger Able to work and communicate both international and domestic customers Assists with correcting entries posted to subledger Participates in continuous improvement and special projects as assignedQualificationsSPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
• Accounting Degree (CA), MBA-Finance or B.com. (Accounting) with required experience.
• Minimum of 7 - 9 years of finance/accounting experience, preferably in Lease Accounting.
• Experience with financial and ERP systems: Oracle (AR, AP, and GL), SAP (FICO)
• Experience with Lease Accounting software (preferred)
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word)
• Hands on with Power BI application usage (preferred)
• Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills.
• Adaptable to varying cultures.
