Job Description

    • Oracle development Lead with 8+ years of experience.
    • Experience with database performance tuning and design
    • Full lifecycle project experience as an Oracle Developer
    • Provide support and maintenance using Oracle SQL& PL/SQL
    • Conduct Code design and development for larger projects using Oracle SQL and PL/ SQL
    • Oracle performance tuning, partitioning and optimization
    • Expert to analysis ASH and AWR reports
    • Exposure on Systems running on Linux or AIX environment
    • Ability to produce oracle reports
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Migrating oracle version 11g to Oracle 19c.
    • Preferably Oracle certified Professional
    Key Responsibilities
    • Develop, design, test and implement complex database programs using Oracle.
    • Ability to handle complex large applications technically
    • Strong understanding and practical experience of software engineering principles, such as Continuous Integration & Test-Driven Development.
    • Ability to coach and mentor the team members.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Lead for Oracle 11g to 19c migration
    • Strong communication, and interpersonal skills; Solid data collection, analysis, and reporting skills; basic project / program management skills;
    • Willingness to be hands-on to complete necessary tasks
    • Ability to work with others in a virtual team
    • Work on the SQL performance improvement by identifying the old queries and applying or turning the queries.
    Required Skills/Experience Must-haves: PLSQL and Oracle expertise Experience with troubleshooting of an application Understanding and passion for writing clean code. Experience with SQL queries using Oracle Database. Understanding of TDD and BDD testing and working closely with analysts on user stories and test criteria. Experience working in mixed/virtual/diverse environments (small co-located team with a larger team in another location) Desirable: Financial services experience, Knowledge of resilient enterprise systems in areas like core banking, or financial messaging Desirable: Financial services experience Experience with Scrum and Agile deliveries.
