We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to equity and sustainability and passion toimprove urban life in India. The position involves engaging with a diverse set of people civicofficials , politicians , civil society agents , media , and others to build support for sustainable andequitable urban transport. This person will be based at the Pune office but will be required to travelfrequently within India. S / he will report to the Manager , Maharashtra Programmes and work in closecollaboration with team members across ITDP offices in India.Scope of workBuild relationships with senior decision makers in cities and at the state level and inspire themto implement sustainable transport initiatives.Build coalitions with civil society organisations to advocate for sustainable transportinitiativesBuild relationships with media to generate support for sustainable transport issues throughpress coverage , campaigns and other initiatives.Strategize , develop , organize and execute workshops , conferences , public events andcampaigns to build support for implementation of sustainable transport initiatives,
